Play cricket for the Apaches!

Join the Kingsford Apaches for a great season of park cricket this summer.

The Apaches are a social cricket club in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. We are a friendly and diverse bunch, and always welcome new players. You can get in touch by registering with us online or liking our Facebook page.

Our goal is to give a game to anyone who wants to play cricket, regardless of who you are or how good you are. Winning is great, but what we really want is for everyone to enjoy the great game of cricket and have a go.

Park cricket is a great way to make friends, get active, and – most importantly – enjoy the game. The Apaches are always welcoming of new players, from all backgrounds. We want to put teams on the park that are competitive, but also make sure everyone gets a game.

As a park team, we have players with a wide range of skill levels, so don’t let that stop you! Whether you haven’t played for years or haven’t ever played, we will be able to give you a go in one of our sides.

This upcoming summer season 2019/20 will bring exciting new changes for the Apaches. The Apaches First XI will be playing in the joint MPSECA and St George Cricket Association for the first time. Most games will still be played around the eastern suburbs, but the combined competition will reinvigorate our association. We will also be fielding our Second XI in the MPSECA standalone 4th grade competition.

Our fees remain competitive and details are available in our Facebook group.

If you’re a current Apache, spread the word and get your friends and work colleagues into the Apaches this season. You can send them to our Facebook page, or this website.

Registrations now open for Apaches 2018/19 cricket season

The Apaches are currently accepting expressions of interest for the 2018/19 summer season.

Park cricket is a great way to make friends, get active, and – most importantly – enjoy the game. The Apaches is always welcoming of new players, from all backgrounds and with all skill levels. We want to put teams on the park that are competitive, but also make sure everyone gets a game.

This upcoming season, the Apaches will be fielding at least 2 teams in the MPSECA (Moore Park and South East Cricket Association) competition. As the association name suggests, most games are played at Moore Park and around Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.

If you’re a current Apache, spread the word and get your friends and work colleagues into the Apaches this season. You can send them to our Facebook page, or this website.

If you’ve played with the Apaches in the past, what’s your excuse?! To put it simply – we miss you.

Details of fees, grades etc will be made available soon, once we have an idea of the MPSECA’s costs.

So, if you’re interested in some cricket this summer, get in touch with us!

Registrations now open for 2018 winter competition

The Apaches will be fielding two teams in the SMCA competition this winter season and we are accepting registrations for new (and not so new) players. The Apaches have been a successful winter club in recent years, with premierships in each of the last three seasons.
